Bioprocess Engineering

You should minor in bioprocess engineering if: 

  • You are an engineering major.
  • You love biology, chemistry, and plant science.
  • You’re interested in environmental, agricultural, or biochemical engineering.

The bioprocess engineering minor is for engineering majors who want a more in-depth understanding of microbiology, plant science, organic and biological chemistry, and biochemical engineering. 

This minor will prepare you for a career in environmental, agricultural, or biochemical engineering.

Program Requirements

To earn a minor in bioprocess engineering, you must be an engineering major. 

You will need to complete 18 credits hours of relevant courses. Up to 12 hours can be counted toward your major engineering curriculum.
