“It was some unfinished business. It was something for (my mom), something to show myself that I could do it, and something to show my children that even though things slow you down, you don’t have to quit.â€
“Society and technology changes at a rapid pace; you’re left behind or struggling to keep up. Enrolling helped me be more effective and efficient in how we were doing business.â€
It was very different. I did SLCC on campus, working part time, so I was able to fully focus on school. But with online, I was working full time, and you have to be so self-disciplined to do online schooling.
“If earning your degree is something you’re interested in, it’s worth reaching out to see if it’s something that can happen,†he says. “Being able to go fully online, honestly, was the reason I was able to go back and finish my degree, and that wasn’t possible when I started it. It has been a life changer.â€
